Services

Everything we do sits inside one boundary: the network and the screens inside your home. Here is exactly what each service includes, what it costs and how long it usually takes.

Wi-Fi & router setup

New router out of the box, mesh nodes placed room by room, channel and band settings tuned, guest network created and every device reconnected.

  • Router, modem and mesh installation walk-through
  • Dead-zone mapping and node placement
  • 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz / 6 GHz band tuning
  • Guest and IoT network separation

Streaming TV & smart devices

Getting picture and sound working the way you expect on smart TVs, streaming sticks, projectors and soundbars, including app sign-ins and profiles.

  • Smart TV, Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV and Chromecast setup
  • App installation, updates and profile setup
  • Buffering, black-screen and audio-sync fixes
  • Remote pairing and universal remote programming

Slow speed diagnostics

A structured speed investigation: wired baseline, wireless comparison, interference check and a written summary you can hand to your provider.

  • Wired vs wireless throughput testing
  • Latency, jitter and packet-loss checks
  • Interference and channel congestion review
  • Written report for your ISP

Home network security

Practical hardening for a family network: strong admin credentials, firmware, encryption standards, parental controls and safe remote access.

  • Router firmware and admin password review
  • WPA2/WPA3 encryption configuration
  • Parental controls and screen-time schedules
  • Phishing and tech-scam awareness briefing

Live chat & remote sessions

Most issues are solved the same day through our chat desk and, with your permission, a screen-share session you can end at any time.

  • Chat, phone and email support
  • Consent-based screen sharing
  • Session notes emailed afterwards
  • Follow-up check-in within 7 days

Moving & new-build planning

Planning a move or a new build? We map where the line should enter, where the router belongs and what equipment is actually worth buying.

  • Provider comparison guidance (independent)
  • Equipment shopping list within your budget
  • Cable-run and outlet planning notes
  • Move-day setup checklist

Wi-Fi & router setup

Most homes are running the router the installer left behind, in the spot the cable happened to enter the house. That single decision causes more complaints than any other. We start from where your devices actually live and work backwards.

  • Unboxing and first-time configuration of routers, modems and mesh kits
  • Room-by-room signal survey and node placement
  • SSID structure, band steering and channel selection
  • Firmware updates and a documented admin password
  • Reconnecting every device, including printers and smart plugs
  • A printed or emailed sheet with all of your new settings

Streaming TV & smart devices

Streaming looks simple until an app signs itself out, the soundbar loses lip sync or the remote pairs with the wrong box. We handle the whole chain: network, device, app and account.

  • Smart TV, Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast and projector setup
  • App installs, updates, profiles and parental PINs
  • Buffering, pixelation, black screen and audio-delay troubleshooting
  • HDMI, ARC/eARC and soundbar configuration
  • Universal and voice remote pairing
  • Guidance on which subscriptions you are duplicating

Slow speed diagnostics

A speed complaint is not one problem, it is four possible problems. We test them in a fixed order so you know whether to change your habits, your hardware or your provider.

  • Wired baseline test directly at the modem
  • Wireless throughput measured in each affected room
  • Latency, jitter and packet-loss sampling over time
  • Channel congestion and neighbouring-network analysis
  • Device-level checks for old wireless adapters
  • A written report you can send to your ISP as evidence

Home network security

You do not need enterprise gear to be reasonably safe. You need current firmware, a password that is not on the sticker, modern encryption and a household that knows what a tech-support scam sounds like.

  • Admin credential and firmware review
  • WPA2/WPA3 encryption and legacy protocol removal
  • Separate guest and smart-home networks
  • Parental controls and per-device schedules
  • Router remote-management and UPnP review
  • A plain-English family briefing on phishing and scam calls

Scope

What we do not do

Being clear about limits saves everyone time. We do not sell internet or TV subscriptions, we do not act as an agent for any provider, we do not perform electrical work or run cable inside walls, and we do not recover data from failed drives. If your issue falls outside our scope we will say so during the free triage and, where we can, point you to the right kind of specialist.

Not sure which one you need?

Describe the symptom in a sentence or two. We will tell you which service fits, or that you do not need us at all.
